Thank you for your interest in cleaning-up our community by hosting a Pick It Up! event.
Please follow the instructions below to successfully register your Pick It Up project as part
of the Columbus Volunteer Challange 5 Days of Service.
1. Identify a Project Coordinator
This person will be responsible for managing and leading volunteers before and during the event.
2. Determine Area and Need
Decide what area you would like to clean up and how many volunteers are needed.
3. Think About Materials
Remember, clean-ups don't need fancy supplies. A used shopping bag will do the trick for picking up litter!
4. Register Your Project
All Pick it Up events will be listed on the Columbus Volunteer Challenge website, open for volunteer sign up. The project contact will receive information about how to access information about registered volunteers once the project is registered. It is very important that you identify a project contact/coordinator who will be able to manage volunteers leading up to and on the day of the event.
