Mark your calendar!

In September, the Columbus Volunteer Challenge will hold 5 Days of Service; a city-wide volunteer experience uniting central Ohioans in service.   Individuals will have the opportunity to search and register for a variety of projects with nonprofits, schools, churches and community partners through the Columbus Volunteer Challenge website.

   Family Weekend - Saturday, September 7 and Sunday September 8

   Drive Drop off Day, Monday, September 9

   United Way of Central Ohio's Community Care Day, Tuesday, September 10

   HandsOn Central Ohio's National Day of Service, Wednesday, September 11

Volunteer of the Week

Alex L. Swain is with the Columbus office of Ernst & Young.  Swain recently passed the CPA exam and is  a very activity volunteer in the community.  She participates in Ernst & Young’s Connect Day every year and has completed a variety of projects with her colleagues including landscaping at the Columbus Zoo, painting for Junior Achievement’s BizTown and making crafts with residents of Goodwill.
